Our DuoLine range is already the most successful plug in the UK – something we’re obviously very proud of.

We’re constantly looking to innovate and develop new products that we know our customers will both like and benefit from using.

Our latest innovation in the Duoline range is the DuoXpand.

With this product you get a slightly different design and we’re also moving away from plasterboard and general fixings into heavy duty frame fixings.  The DuoXpand adapts to the building materials and is ideally suited for hollow block or aircrete.

The soft red part of the fixing gentle adapts to the substrate and doesn’t cause any breakages. It can also be used near the edge of substrates.

That means its ideal for wooden substructures including pergolas, arbors or gazebos as well as heavier builds like car ports.

It you love doing a bit of DIY it can also be used around the home on jobs including putting up TV brackets or fixing kitchen cupboards to the walls.

Let’s look at it in more detail:

• The version with a countersunk screw is particularly suitable for fastening timber to concrete and masonry
• It’s universal and secures hold in all building material classes as well as avoiding fractures in porous materials
• It’s made of high-quality nylon which ensures strength as well as material which gives additional safety
• It also expands gently in the building material its going into and enables anchoring close to the edge
• It offers secure anchoring in perforated building materials with large cavities.
• Contact corrosion between the screw and the fixture is prevented
• The ribs on the side also prevent it from turning in the drill hole making for a safer installation
